The annual NUI Awards Ceremony will take place on 1 November 2011 at 2.30 pm. in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham. At the
ceremony, the Chancellor, Dr Maurice Manning will present travelling studentships, scholarships, prizes and other awards to over a hundred students and graduates of the NUI Constituent Universities and Recognised Colleges, UCD, UCC, NUI Galway, NUI Maynooth RCSI and NCAD. The total value of NUI awards in 2011 is almost €700,000.
The winner of the prestigious Irish Historical Research Prize will be announced at the ceremony.
