Post-Doctoral Fellowships are funded by a special NUI Fund. The main purpose of these Fellowships is to encourage and support graduates of proven academic excellence to advance their scholarly research. It is expected that the research undertaken will result in a substantial contribution to knowledge, worthy of publication, and contribute to the learning culture in the constituent institutions.
NUI / Dr Garret FitzGerald Post-Doctoral Fellowships in the Humanities 2012
The University was pleased to introduce the Dr Garret FitzGerald Post-Doctoral Fellowships in the Humanities in 2012. These new Fellowships were to honour the memory of the late Chancellor of the National University of Ireland who died in 2011.

Beifear ag súil i ngach cás go mbeidh sé mar thoradh ar an taighde a thabharfar faoi go gcuirfear go mór leis an eolas atá ar fáil cheana i dtaobh an ábhair agus gur fiú é a fhoilsiú.
