NUI Centennial Prizes for Irish History

To celebrate the centenary of the National University of Ireland, NUI invites applications for a Centennial Prize for Irish History. This prize, of €5,000 is offered for the best work of Irish historical research, published since 1 January 2005 as a first sole author book.  The work, which should be substantial, must be of an original character indicating direct research in historical records.

Those eligible to enter are graduates of the National University of Ireland and members of staff of the constituent universities and recognised colleges of NUI whose doctoral degrees were awarded no earlier than 1 January 1990.
